The establishment of the new Gawler Business & Economic Development Committee is now nearing completion. This group will include six independent local business members bringing real‑world insight, hands‑on business experience, and a deep understanding of Gawler’s economic landscape.

Designed to champion local enterprise, the Committee will play a key role in helping guide and inform Council on future economic initiatives, programs and events that support business growth across the region.

By drawing on the expertise of business owners who operate in Gawler every day, the Committee will ensure that our economic direction is shaped by people who know the opportunities, challenges, and strengths of our local economy firsthand.

The Committee is planning to hold its first meeting in April, and we look forward to sharing more about the appointed members and their upcoming work.
